Aircraft Maintenance, repairs & overhaul

Blue  Air Technic [BAT] is an EASA Part 145 approved maintenance organization (RO.145.055) with Line & Base capabilities for Boeing 737 CL/NG/MAX and  Airbus 320 CEO/NEO aircraft families.

Blue Air Technic Line Maintenance [AMO] supports round the clock, our customer airlines flight operations, including trouble shooting, defect rectification and aircraft dispatch.

Blue Air Technic Base Maintenance [MRO] performs work scopes to cover all major checks up to ‘6C’, including  scheduled tasks, non-routine repairs, overhauls, and AD/SB major modifications.

Our specialized technical teams can cover maintenance  work  to all aircraft sections and zones:

Maintenance Training Organization

Blue Air Technic is an EASA Part 147 approved maintenance training organization (RO.147.010) who

delivers high quality, cost-effective theoretical and practical training programs, to customers.

MTO provides Boeing type rating training, standard and differences courses, theoretical and practical elements, on all variants CL/NG/MAX of model B737 airplanes, for both B1 and/or B2 categories.

Our training portfolio also includes a wide range of specialized training, initial and recurrent/refresher courses on Topics required by EASA regulation (EU) 1321/2014:

Specialized services – NDE/NDT & BSI

Therefore, the MRO organization build NDT & BSI inspections
capabilities for on-wing non-invasive examinations, on the ramp
or inside hangar.
The following  Non-Destructive Examination or Test methods
allow​ identification of incipient defects of material  while saving
time  and minimizing removal costs for access:

ET  – Eddy currents  inspection​
UT  – Ultrasonic inspection​
PT  – Penetrant liquid detection​
MT  – Magnetic particle inspection​
BSI – Borescope inspection​

Logistic Services

Technical Purchases & AOG Procurement – we tailor this service to focus on aircraft registration and on 24/7 coverage throughout a whole year, according to the customer input. The spare parts purchasing  on behalf of the customer, is handled by our organization and the supply chain is driven in respect with customer expectations for priority on quotations  and on-time deliveries.

Logistics – we send your parts to destination, using our network and our partner agents. We work out viable solutions for customers that operate in Europe, MES, AFR or USA.

Storage – we are keeping over 600 rotables and 8.000 consumables stock in our Bucharest main stores. The stores are approved  together with our EASA Part 145 organization and meet all standards for storage management in aviation.

Planning & Technical Services

For preserving safety standards, a cost-effective maintenance program, a manpower demand and a healthy resource management, we developed an in-depth Production Planning Department to control in-field irregularities on dispatch, the slots in the hangar and the production workflow in progress, while servicing multiusers.

 Our organization employs a solid number of highly qualified staff trained locally, from high educated personnel, hired at the moment of their graduation and grown in house for years, until they get licensed, authorized and loyals.

Our employees’ acquired experience and  multi-tasking ability give flexibility and high quality to our performance, confidence to the pilots, time and financial advantage to the customers.

Facility – Base Maintenance

3,500 sqm Hangar overhauled in 2009 became the

state–of–the–art facility, capable to accommodate two

Boeing 737 lines. 

Integral aircraft painting can efficiently be performed

in a door-to-door painting dedicated hangar, by

subcontracting on site, during the check ground time.
